Prologue.[]

Daisy Moon was sitting at the edge of the lake in her winter robes and her hufflepuff scarf tangled around her cold neck. Humming to the sound of whatever song she had thought of that day, she got out her satchel and retrieved her book, quill and silver ink bottle. Then she started writing. Daisy would write all sorts of things on her evenings by the lake, stories, poetry, the occasional diary entery and her own guide to taking care of her pet cactus Butter.

She held her quill to her chin, and stopped humming. What should she write about today? Perhaps about Sophia. And the time she accidently let her cat out in class. Daisy was always fond of Sophia, but for some reasion she didn't share the affection. It was a strange concept for her,

Quill
Ink
Book for pic

especially since she was friends with absolutly everybody, well, almost everbody.

The funny thing was, Daisy spotted Sophia as soon as she began writing. She never liked going around this part of the lake, maybe she wanted alone time too, just like her?

When Sophia caught her eye, she looked scared. Which was odd, Sophia was a Gryffindor, and they aren't afraid of anything. Daisy blinked for a moment in confusian. When she opened her eyes, Sophia was gone. Daisy resumed her writing, suddenly the sound of flickering leaves and twigs filled the air. Sophia had jumped behind the bushes and was behind her. Before she could ask what she was doing, Sophia drew out a silver and bronze blade from her pocket, and stabbed her chest.

Daisy's lungs screamed for air, and had no time to even think about what was happening. Pain sunk into her chest and eventually her entire body. Blood spilled from her damaged flesh and a rippling cry finally escaped from her lips. All the senses around her turned to red and eventually faded away, she could no longer see, hear, or smell. The last thing she ever saw was the face of her classmate Sophia...the one who has killed her.

Chapter One.[]

Rion could have sworn he had shut every door, every cabnet and every closet that was inside his house. But every time he would finally settle down on his desk, back to his morning work, the noise of a drawer or some wardrobe being swept open by the wind would always come back to interrupt what he was doing. Autumn mornings always begun this way. While he could have cast a spell to prevent it, Rion was never a very good student. After the fifth time that day, he decided to check the basement, the only room in the house where he wasn’t certain that the doors were locked. Sure, it would be a bit abnormal for the winds to reach beneath the ground, but it seemed worth a shot to him. When he had entered the dark and chilly room, also known to him as his Treasure Room, the air was still and the wardrobes were shut.

Rion would keep all sorts of things in his treasure room, momentous, gifts, antiques and magical objects. But out of all of those he mostly kept his belongings from school. Despite being a terrible student at Hogwarts, he had all his most happy memories there. Not all those times he shared at that school were happy however, his sister’s death for one. The day he found out Daisy’s body was found behind the lake shore was the most horrifying memory in his life. Even after 10 years, not a soul has found out who the killer was.

In honor of his sister, Rion kept Daisy’s most treasured belongings in the basement. Her notebook, her quill and her silver ink bottle. What was truly strange, was that Rion noticed that the annoying sounds were coming from the corner he kept them. When he took a closer look, he found that it was coming from the quill. The feather was wobbling, and was making eerie noises that the dear wind could definitely not create. Out of curiosity Rion reached for the quill and touched the end, only to be pushed across the room by an unknown force.

When poor Rion gathered all his senses, he found himself in front of a dark haired girl with freckles and blue eyes. It was Sophia Glass. Younger Sophia Glass. From when he was 14 at hogwarts.
