Prologue[]
"You're taking it to far!" A girl wearing a bright blue masked lined with fake emeralds screamed her voice echoing off the cold walls of Vage's icy lair. While the villain just laughed. "If you're not going to stop I'll stop you myself, I still have my power you know.."
"Try to stop me. I just want to hear the praise of the people when she's defeated." Vage said, lacking all emotion in her cold steady voice.
"I'll make sure you'll never get that praise. You don't deserve it you murderer!" The masked girl hissed at the villain.
Vage gritted her teeth. How had she considered this a girl once a friend? The girl was thinking the same thing. Life was about to take them in two completely different directions due to both of their poor choices. Instead of feeling any sympathy for her old friend Vage had a different path she wanted the girl to take. A huge ball of clear ice formed in her hands. Yes, it was time to get her revenge.
Chapter One[]
"Where am I?" A girl with wavy brown hair asked throwing her self up from a hospital. Why is she here? The girl tried to remember the last moment before waking up. Nothing, her mind was just one big blur.
A woman looked right at the girl in bed, "Iyszie, you're awake. I thought you'd never," The woman's sentence was interrupted by sobs. The girl mouthed the name the lady had called her, it felt vaguely familiar. Iyszie looked closer at the girl, she wore a messy bun with her brown hair scattered all over. Her brown eyes were all sparkly with tears in them.
"Who are you?" Iyszie asked her, only realizing that it was rude when a nurse she had failed to see spoke.
"Hello Iyszie, what do you remeber?"
She tried again to call upon any memory, "Nothing."
The nurse bit her lip, "Mrs. Haert may we speak together in the hallway for a few moments?" The nurse asked the lady.
"Yes, of course." They step outside leaving Iyszie to wait in that horrible room by herself. With nothing to do she just stared at the little clock in the corner by the door. It was only a minute before the nurse and the lady came back into Iyszie's room. Only after about five minutes did the lady leaves and take Iyszie with her.
"Why are we leaving so fast?" Was Iyszie's first question.
The lady pucked up her lips, "Not enough space, not with Vage's attacks."
"Who?" Iyszie asked, "What?"
"Well there is a girl, her name is Vage, she's a supervillain. Has power over ice, that's how you got your amnesia. She hit you with a giant piece of ice. You've seen out for over a month." The lady said while pulling her red car out of the parking lot.
"Why'd she do that?" Iyszie asked.
The lady frowned staring into the distance, "She just attacks random people," The lady answered, "But she attacked you because you figured out her real identity."
Iyszie looked up, and with a shaking voice she asked, "Who is she?"
"According to you, Lea Messi. A girl who was your best friend ever." The lady informed Iyszie.
Iyszie just stared out of the window for the rest of the ride, thinking about this information.
Chapter Two[]
The lady rambled on and on throughout the car ride. lyszie learned a lot during the car ride. First, the lady was her mother. There was a superhero named Begulia who has a hypnotic voice, she's been presumed dead after a battle with Vage when she went missing. The main suspect for who she was is Iyszie's only other friend Myla Hemmings, who had gone missing at the same time. Some people will be coming to all of their houses and Lea to investigate them to try to figure out anything about Vage.
In the dark, they pull into a long driveway into a two-story white house. "Welcome home." Iyszie's mom said getting out of the car. "Here I'll show you into your room."
Iyszie's room was pretty small with white walls.
