Introduction[]
Balthazar Fish, more commonly referred to as Mr. Fish, is a bluegill sunfish originating from the realm of Bass Pro Shops. He is a true Renaissance fish, being a samurai, a magician, an angry old man, and a supervillain. He was almost turned into sushi once and nearly met his defeat when Cirkasius tried to stuff him in a shoe, but he is strong and prevailed. He is currently plotting his revenge.

Description[]
Balthazar looks like any other bluegill sunfish, except he is very large. He is green, gold, orange, and blue, and his scales are especially stunning in sunlight. That is, they would be if he went outside. He lurks in his basement and reads classic literature, preferring to avoid fishkind, humanity, and the world.
Balthazar is capable of turning into a grouchy old man, due to the ancient curse placed upon him by his next door neighbor. In this form, he has grey hair and a cane.
Personality[]
Balthazar is known for his saltiness, impatience, and irritability. He expects things to be done right the first time, and when that doesn't happen, he is very cranky indeed. He does not like trespassers of any kind and wants everyone to get off his lawn.
Abilities[]
Cheating at Being a Fish[]
Fish can't breathe on land, right? WRONG. Balthazar can, and no one knows why because he sure doesn't seem to have lungs. But he can. Maybe it's part of his next door neighbor's spell.
Poison Ivy[]
In The Quarantine Diaries, Balthazar acquired his poison ivy powers from a rather unfortunate situation in which he ran out of toilet paper and had to resort to leaves. The only leaves around his house were poison ivy leaves, and he had no choice.
Every time he went out to gather leaves, he got a new rash somewhere, as there's poison ivy all over his property and nonexistent garden. Before long, he was covered in poison ivy, and not too long after that, leaves began to sprout all over him. He became Poison Ivy Fish.
He later learns how to make the leaves appear and disappear as he pleases.
Shapeshifting[]
As mentioned above, Balthazar has the ability to turn into an old man. It is unknown if he can take any other forms in addition to his fish form.
Unexplained Power[]
We can't explain it.
Story[]
So far, the only work Balthazar has appeared in is the discontinued Quarantine Diaries. However, he is a major character in the lore thought up by SamuraiSwords and Cirkasius on a daily basis. This lore has yet to take a literary form.

- Balthazar Fish is a real plush fish residing somewhere in the United States. He is in the care of two college students. One of them tries to stuff him in a shoe sometimes.
