A comprehensive guide to the important figures in the AA mythos. This long-forgotten civilization has a deep and rich history.

Bookstalkers[]

These little creatures stalk the oldest books with the richest history, often picking up a spell or two. This has earnt them the name, "bookstalkers" as they effectively stalk books. They are often found in long-abandoned libraries, peeking out from shelves coated in thick carpets of dust. Sometimes they are tamable, but it really depends on their mood; some authors have even reported incidents where the bookstalkers have flown away after sometimes years of helping the authors of the Academy.

Library Keepers[]

These are ancient beings of unknown power. They possess ancient magic to keep the libraries of the Authors Academy running. These creatures can transform into beings of pure fury if their libraries are disturbed by mortals, but they mostly remain in human form. When their libraries are forgotten, they slowly fade out into nothing, their libraries gathering dust.

Authors[]

These are humanoid creatures possessing great power. They can write out the future, planning each detail of something's life, no matter how minuscule that thing is. They are usually readily equipped with a pen filled with the blood of a dragon - dragons possess ancient magic unknown to mortal kind and are thought to be able to tell the future - and a book made of siren scales. They must always carry their book and quill, as not doing so will result in their authorship being taken away from them. They are not powerful creatures, compared to others, but they have great wisdom and and are extremely dangerous to come across. Usually, they will not harm anyone distrupting them, but if one tries to take their quill or book, they will be forced to write their death. Some authors give more mercy than others, handing out quick deaths, wheras some... are not as generous.
